Ron Asheton of the Stooges died. That makes me sad. He's such a kick ass guitarist, one of the godfather's of punk. He was only 60.....I'm sad now.

Summer's half-over, so I suppose something of an update is in order. I ended up getting a Chevy Malibu Maxx and a cherry sunburst Les Paul instead. What's so funny is that I've been thinking about picking up guitar again, and now that I've thought about it, about four other random people I've known over the years are talking about taking guitar classes.

I just finished reloading/downloading all my music after the hard drive crash. My iTunes list numbers 549 songs purportedly lasting 2 days. I find that impressive, frankly, though I'm sure I can do better.
I need to get back to work now. Bob Dylan tomorrow!!!!!

My playlist at work isn't as long as my playlist at home, but still exceeds 10 hrs. As I listened to it, I realized there were some pretty racy songs form Avenue Q, so I deleted them.
