- Vampire Weekend is coming to Peace & Love in Sweden this summer! Yay!
- The Ark released their new album In full Regalia yesterday! I'm still not crazy about the music they make nowadays, BUT they released this album with a 100-page magazine! It's their attempt at saving the music industry; giving the costumer more than just the music. I kind of love it, it's full of odd stories and facts and lots of delicious pictures.
AND! When I was googling Adam Lambert a few days ago (I as I do, because he's on the verge of making it big here in Sweden, so I try to keep up with what people are saying about him) I came across this radio interview that I hadn't heard before, in which he mentions The Ark!
He's talking about his favorite Swedish musicians and mentions them at 1:30:
Adam: And I think, um, aren't The Ark Swedish?
Interviewer: Yeah, do you know about them?
Adam: Uh-huh, I do, and not a lot of people in LA and the States know about them, but I became aware of them, a friend turned me on to them and I saw their cd-cover and I was like “ooh, cool, glam”. And yeah, they’re really cool.
*dreamy sigh* My mind goes all flaily when I listen to it and I now ship Adam/Ola Salo like burrrning.
