LOL WHY I AM NOT DOING HOMEWORK. BECAUSE I SUCK, THAT'S WHY.
My plan for today was to watch the short program for men's figure skating at Worlds and study at the same time. I didn't study at all. But it was so much fun to watch! I have never watched a competition like that, I've only seen performances on youtube. I started watching around when swedish Adrian Schultheiss was on, and he did so good! He stayed in the lead for a while, before Jeremy Abbott beat his score and then a bunch of others did as well. AND ADAM RIPPON. HE WILL BE MY FAVORITE FOREVER. His special lutz was soooo pretty!! And his happy face at the end when he got his scores.... I think I died a little. In the good way.
I can't believe I'm this exited about figure skating. After all the odd fandoms I've been in I thought nothing would surprise me, but I can't help but feel baffled when I think about this. A sport. (My mom and dad mocked me endlessly when they found me in front of the tv this afternoon).
... so, I should study now. Right. I'll do that.
