Slacker much?

I guess I haven't posted in forever, and it's not like I've been doing SO much else lately.  I just haven't been motivated.
I do miss Paula - where did you go, girl? You popped into my icon journal, and then I haven't heard from you since.  If you read this, I've been doing the demented lemming thing a WHOLE LOT lately.  I cannot seem to stop myself.
Dear Goddess.  I went to Walmart tonight, and actually got to the Halloween aisle.  This scares me.  I did take some pictures, so I'll probably post them on my flickr later tonight or sometime tomorrow.
Tony also let me go near the five dollar dvd bin again, but I was good, I only got six movies.  I keep trying to find two movies in particular while I'm there, Duets and Anger Management.  Actually, I'm keen to get a whole bunch of Adam Sandler movies, because I love him.  About the only movie I've watched of his that I really didn't like was Little Nicky.
I did get one thing accomplished I'd been wanting to, and that was to get the kittens a bigger water dish.  I got them one of those dispenser water dishes, because I'm refilling the regular style about eight hundred times a day.
Oh.
We also went to Barnes & Noble this week, too.
I'll have to take a few pics of the books I got, but I got the new-ish Charles Frazier book, Thirteen Moons, which looks really good.  I've read the first couple of chapters already.  In case one doesn't recognise his name, he's the author of Cold Mountain, which is one of my favourite books, I utterly adored it.  I also got a two collective works, Edgar Allan Poe and Lewis Carroll. I get such a kick out of reading Poe, he's so ...mournful.  I also picked up two of my favourite "smut" authors' books, a Julia Quinn, which I've already finished....The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever, and as usual, totally adorable.  The other "smut" was one by Christine Feehan, part of the series about the psychic sisters, not the vampire series.
I think I did very well.  I saw several more I wanted to lay hands on and held myself back.
I think I'll stop here, because I want to go watch a movie, and I'm going to put a load of dishes on and start a pot of coffee before I do that.
Oh!  I went to the grocery store today, and this is great, I actually found crumpets.  If no one knows what these are, well, they're kind of like english muffins, but even better, IMHO. And I can never, ever find them in a grocery store.  So I was over the moon about it.  Silly me, but I'm so rubbing my hands together about a nice toasty crumpet loaded down with butter and strawberry jam.  Mmmmm.

miscellaneous, shopping
