Lovecraft of current...used to like stories of witches when I was younger, but the only vaguely realistic ones always ended so badly for the heroines it got depressing and repetitive...oh and Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles for the lulz and guy-on-guy action

I do love all animals, but I'm not sure I'd be able to devote enough time to keep a pet. An independent animal that just followed me around or served some purpose would be pretty boss.
