Mud Season
Well... Now into the freezing/thawing cycle that we call "mud season". About a month or so. The roads have heaved so badly that you cannot go 35, unless of course, you like bouncing your head on the ceiling !
I have a sick keyboard, and no one can repair it. 21 years old, parts just don't exist. I haven't given up hope for it, but I had some really 'organic' sounds on it, and i'd like to use them. I cannot believe that the guitar I used to help purchase the keyboard is now worth about $3,000.00. And the keybord is now worth, whatever a paper weight is...
I have been writing in my paper journal all winter, just fell by the wayside here. I'll try to be better. I am in need of some direction, and I had hoped that writing would clear my mind some, which it did, but not so much that I feel renewed. Purrhaps this spring will help.
