toys!
so, my new phone got here around noon, and i have been pretty much unable to sleep since then (toys! new toys, omg!), though i did get in an hour nap that has prevented me from being able to go to planned parenthood, but i can do that tomorrow when i'm off.
the problem is, because i was half-asleep when the phone came, i spent about 2 hours trying to get it to work without reading the instructions. to be fair to myself, i don't think i went to sleep until 8a.m., so there.
after taking the new and old phones apart, swapping the SIM cards (don't ask why, just...don't), replacing the SIM cards, going through everything on the menu, and basically driving myself insane, i finally realised there were set-up instructions in the bottom of the box it had come in. so i read them, and i'm not leaving my house for another hour, so i can't do anything about it yet (since i don't have a house phone here), but now the old phone isn't working either, so i am without phone. which isn't such a big deal to me, but i had called my mom before both stopped working and left her a message asking her to call me. 5$ says she's been calling for 30 minutes now and is freaking out!
cloak, if you see this, will you call her and let her know what's going on? i should be near a phone by 5:30-6ish, so let her know i will call her then. thank you, sweet seester o' mine.
