What Is This I Don't Even
Oh gosh.
Looking through old Sims pictures is just... ridiculous. I'm procrastinating on doing my Japanese Literature homework (funnily enough, seeing as I get the awesome pleasure of reading some Edo period manga, c. 1785 - complete with old-fashioned puns!) and managed to wander onto the Boolprop FighttheAddiction False forums, somehow. It's just so silly seeing how my game was in 2008... and how horribly amateurish I was in all respects. :P But I thought I was the shit. I totally did. All up in there with my Garden of Shadows knowledge and my meme pictures. So fresh. Yet, I suppose when you're a thirteen-year-old on the internet that's to be expected. But damn, dude. My game was butt ugly.
I have to say, there was a pretty big period where my gaming was dependent on the forums I frequented. First it was childish over on Boolprop (and super advanced~! Gosh just look at those .gif skills). Then it got GoS-ified. Then I started going on GoS less and it got more unique and realistic. Now it's maxis matchy because my laptop can't handle CC. But I am okay with this. I do get a bit jealous of the more realistic pretties from time to time but everything in my game right now just looks so... clean and smooth and lovely.
It just looks nice to me. :3

Yes, surprisingly, I'm actually alive and breathing and things. I know it didn't quite seem like it since I was all, "I am going to get an update out sooner than last time, you guys!" and then completely disregarded the fact that I had ever actually said that. Not intentionally, mind. I just started college this past semester as an ickle freshman and have been a tiny bit swamped. I have actually gotten the chance to play Sims 2, but in very small increments. Thus, I haven't been able to edit/upload/narrate pictures just yet. Besides that, I've been trying to schedule more time to practice and hopefully film/upload dances, since I have been severely lacking in that respect. Even just vlogs would be good. I need to get on those. But I have a pimple on my chin that would take a jackhammer to get out, so I have to wait patiently as that heals and my face goes on its merry way.
But guys, guys! I took some pictures of my dorm room when I first decorated it, thus. Behold, my supreme nerdiness:
I was just delivered the nice white rug from my room the other day that kind of ties the room together. It's quite soft, I enjoy it.
Hey wow I am not very funny tonight. I've been a bit stressed lately due to writing a paper and/or quiz test mix every day. Plus the parents of this boy
are coming up this weekend. LiveJournal, meet Alex. Current boyfriend and ridiculous person of ultimate silliness™. We met the second day of New Student Orientation at a barbecue, somewhat by chance. I was going with my friend Kayla, who knew him as an acquaintance previously from the summer orientation, and thus we met. Then Kayla and I invaded his room, bugged his roommate Spencer, and passed out on his bed at 4 in the morning. Because we're cool kids. The coolest.
But don't worry, Spencer secretly loves us. He just doesn't realize it yet.
We've been dating since 9/10/11 because it's easy to remember and also not a day laced in sadness and general frownery. There was no real official date, to be honest. It was probably leaning more toward the 11th, but... yeah.
So, that's my update post for the day. I'm hoping to get more into posting Sims things on here because I have a bit I'd like to share, if I can. I miss the community. :C Oh god everyone in this room is singing "I'll Make A Man Out Of You" way too loudly for 11 in the evening. And they are a distracting bunch. Looks like homework is on the backburner. College, what have you done to me?
