R.I.P. Lady
Today we put to sleep our 18yo tabby cat, Lady. It was the right thing to do - she had barely eaten in 5 days and was in a lot of pain from last night. This doesn't make it any easier to say good bye to such long term and much loved member of our family. I knew it was coming but wasn't prepared for it. I am far from stable enough to actually process this in a mature fashion and so am sitting blubbing like a child.
