(no subject)
I managed to get out of bed at a reasonable time today. Shock! Lunches were made early. Kids were at school way before the bell. Wonder what's wrong with me?
I went to the markets to get potatoes and onions. We buy them in bulk from the markets - cheaper that way. Potatoes in 50kg bags, and onions in - I think - 20kg bags. From there I went to Campbell's Cash and Carry and bought bulk instant gravy, bulk vegemite, bulk laundry powder and bulk toilet paper. We go through dunny paper like you wouldn't believe!! Keep trying to teach the kids you don't need much, but they don't listen.
When I got back, Matt and John left with a screen door for Michael. Matt had one here he adjusted for him. They went to put it in for him. Since he would be over that way, I asked him to pop in to mum's and fix a few things she has on a list for him. I tried to call her, but no answer. Her mobile phone was off - as usual. Pam said she'd mentioned something about a morning tea, so I phoned the pub across the road from her, and she was there. They know her as "Lyall's wife", since dad always went there for a drink, they knew him well. I asked for "Lyall's wife" and they got her straight away - LOL.
I told her Matt would be over to fix a few things, so she said she'd be home in an hour. I called him to tell him. I sat and watched the rest of Roswell. I'm so pinged off that the series ended. Oh well - I'm only one voice. Got the kids at 3pm
Storm lost a tooth today. He said he bit it. He was most upset, until I told him the tooth fairy would leave him money.
I made them fish fingers for dinner, then left to go to Nicky's. Nicky, Tiss and I went to an UnderCoverWear party. I need a few bras, so I spent!!
I had my share of ribs when I got home about 10:30pm.
