I have a solid two octave range on trumpet. Go me.
Yesterday was rather fun, if not otherwise exciting. I made some cookies until I went out shopping with Silas. Bought Mandy's gifts, slippers and socks, and two white shirts for various purposes. Silas bought her Twister. Came back to my house and wrapped gifts. It was fun. Yay for Silas ; )
Following that I made dinner and went to Mandy's party. Drove up to Silas' house, and then switched with my dad so that he was driving. Got there. Went outside and played in the streets, walked to her Aunt's house, looked at the thruway, got pinecones thrown at us. Back inside, and there were some sexual undertones that I don't do so well with. But hey, what did I expect? Played Twister, and Mike is surprisingly good at it. Mike and Silas were going at it for awhile and then it ended when Cathlene and Mandy just knocked them over. Hmmm, at a couple points I went outside for fresh air. Prayed a bit to, softly. Then I guess it started raining but I didn't notice. And I had a snail on my pants. It was rather cute. Silas came outside every now and then and I talked to him. Silas is a good listener. Uh, fooled around more and left. I'm forgetting something, but hey, it's not that important.
Off to work. Yay.
