Woke up this morning with hideously swollen tonsils. DayQuil has taken care of the worst of it, but now my sinuses are draining and I've got a pretty terrible cough. slyddur and I have done you a favor. Unless you're the world's biggest Xena: Warrior Princess fan, do not go see In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. It is godawful crap. I suppose it's worth watching if somebody else rented it, but don't give it your time and your money. -

Chipped my tooth at work about a week ago, which sucked mightily... but worker's comp paid to fix it, and I wound up getting a cleaning out of the deal. The dentist said that my teeth are amazingly strong; but since I haven't been to the dentist in over a decade, I had some pretty nasty tartar buildup. Leatherworking and Apathy
I've been a bad blogger. I just realized how long it's been since I posted.

Turns out I had gastroenteritis. I do not recommend it. I went to the ER on Sunday because a couple of my yuckier symptoms weren't going away; fortunately, I have insurance now. I still don't know what my ER bill will be... they wanted me to stand in a line to pay ( Read more... )
