the mars volta were pretty fuckin sweet. but my personal favorite was saul williams--that fellow blew me away. i was in complete awe (jaw dropped and everything. i think i blinked twice while he was on stage...)
then went to the cha cha (options were limited, due to the lateness of our outing) to celebrate ben's bday. hipsters coming out of the woodwork. and the floor. and the ceiling. and the beer taps.
alas, my return to bellingham is being postponed yet again. i've been summoned to act as front desk/phone attendant for an extra week at sub pop. not that i'll mind (it's...um...all about the benjamins...baby?), but i was looking forward to the ham. the bham. baaaaaaaaalls.
