How to use Wayback Machine

OK, maybe a bit off subject, but you all are so knowledgeable! I have a defunct website URL and the webmaster said the site is now archived on the Wayback Machine site. How do I use the site? I put in the URL and all I get is a chart showing how many times the site has been looked at. I want the site itself! Do I have to make an account or something???
