miribilist treated me to a day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium for my birthday yesterday! The giant octopus was my favorite. Google just reminded me that it's Robert Louis Stevenson's birthday today. Without him we might not have many, many pirate stories, or the phrase "Jekyll and Hyde." He was a good storyteller - little kids still love "Treasure Island."
