Only children, repre-SENT!
How many of us are only children? I thought of this when I posted to maitheas's LJ and she is One Of Us!
Only children get a bad rap - we are spoiled, socially inept, and so on. What? And be-siblinged Paris Hilton is NOT spoiled? I've never known the stereotypical "spoiled, selfish" only child. One (positive) thing that I do notice most of us have in common is that we can easily amuse ourselves. In my case, being an only child + mom who HATED noise and crowds of people = lifelong talent for self-amusement and finding dragons in paint swirls.
I recall several of my friendslist mentioning they were onlies. If you are an only child, step forth and proclaim it with pride! We are proud! We are awesome! We are specially favored by Lord Squirrelmort!
Besides, Neville Longbottom is an only child and he is, as we all know, made of awesome!
