Walking with a couple of other people...

I went for a walk yesterday.  It was a part of the annual Perth City to Surf Fun Run.  There were several categories - marathon, half marathon, 11km wheelchair, 12km run/walk and the 4km run/walk.

The total number of participants over all categories was 40,000!  That's a lot of people!

I joined the 4km Walk, along with around 9,000 other people

Thank you! The official results are up on the website. For my age group I came 61st out of 334. I'm very happy with that! And I have the first sporting medal that I've ever won in my life. [Sure, everyone who took part received one, but still!!!] :)
