I'm posting less and less on LJ, and I think it's perhaps time to move on to something different.
I use Facebook for keeping in touch with friends and family and Twitter for light social chatting and networking. LJ used to be where I did my processing and more personal thinking, but I'm less comfortable doing that in public now. There is an aspect of my personal life that I still want to discuss publicly because I think that my growth in that area ultimately benefits from having some kind of community to share in, but I'm not sure LJ is the right place for it. Plus I really hate all the advertisements and other crap.
I'll probably be keeping the journal open, since I still want to read and comment on what my friends are writing, but I'm debating going through and friend-locking all previous entries.
