Life Is Sometimes Twisted

Today I went into town and watched the Ireland/Saudi Arabia match - we won: 3-0, which means we go into the next round. Though I doubt we'll get much further than that. Ireland have been a great team this year, and I have found myself drooling over Robbie Keane <333, but that's aside from the matter! Have you ever noticed, those of you who watch football, that you swear so much during the match? I don't really curse that much, but during the match I think I must've cursed more in 90mins than I do in an entire week! It's very strange..

Alas, when I got home I went straight to sleep - inhaling smoke makes me weak and tired; and then went online for a good portion of the night. I didn't study. BUT, I think I needed today to get me out of the annoying phase I was in. I got out of the house and away from work, and I feel refreshed and ready to hit the books once again. I think I just got sick of studying and going online every day (I've been doing the same thing for the past month and a half), so in a strange way, going to watch the match and do nothing for a day was a good thing for me to do!

It's now 10:15, and I think I'm going to revise for an hour or so tonight. My predicted grade for Italy was an A, and I just worked "normally" in that subject, so if I can keep my head down and learn and write and read at my level best, I should (hopefully) be okay. I am glad there's no source questions in this paper - just a factual recall question and an essay. If I get "How Totalitarian was Fascist Italy", I will be so happy! In fact, if I get anything except for the Economy, I'll be very pleased!

On the whole "romance" front, I think I'm going to take Natty and Claire's advice and just wait an see what happens. I am sure a day will come when I am really ready to go out with someone, and open up a tiny bit. Right now, I've got to enjoy life as it is!
