Opinions requested - HONEST opinions
If you have a significant other in your life who not only does not share your love for being a rennie, but seems to want to take you away from being a rennie, what would you do?
This person has been part of your life for more than a year. This person has totally different hobbies than you, that you have no issues with, you are just not interested in them. This person has an issue with how you comport yourself at faires, because this person feels that the only time you should ever flirt is with this person and this person alone. Never with anyone else, even though faire = fun, not whorehouse, as in this person's thoughts.
This person took a day off of his hobby to go with you to yours. That was nice. But - This person glared while you were spending time with your nieces. This person glared while you were on stage performing. This person now says he does not know whether you will be able to work/organize/perform at next year's Festival, or go to sword practice, because 'I just don't know'.
What would you do, when faced with the choice of -
[1] being alone, having to get a second job to support the household, which you are already doing the lion's share of but which is still not quite enough, but being able to be yourself, to see your friends - well, family really, as that is what faire is for most of us, or
[2] being with this other person, who loves you & just wants to be with you - only.
