So when I got home from the movies this evening (Casino Royale, and I liked it a lot, thanks :) the boy was watching some forensics shoe or other. Terribly interesting case wherein the fur of the murderer's pet cat helped to solve the case, and somewhat of a landmark becauswe it was the first time that animal hair had been used in a forensics case.

At any rate, during the initial ssearch for the missing (and presumed murdered) victim, the police were so desperate that they were using any and all methods that were open to tnem, up to and including talking to a psychic. Apparently this practitioner told them that the body would be found in an area near pine trees and water. When they found the body "the place it was in was very like what the psychic had predicted." Meanwhile, my inner cynic is **screaming** because the murder was on *Prince Edward Island* in Canada, and all I could think was "It's fricken' *Prince Edward island*! Of **course** it's near pine trees and water! The island is *only* about 6046 square miles. What did they expect? desert?" *A*mazing.
