project zx6r moving forward!!!

So, with the help of a few friends over the past few days and a lot of head scratching, project bike is starting to look more like a bike and less like a pile of random things.

Tomorrow, I will torque down all of the nuts and bolts I put in today, but as of right now, the engine is mounted in the frame, the front wheel/forks/triple tree is together and on the frame, the shock is mounted, the rear swingarm and lowering links are mounted, and the bike is resting on the stands instead of on the homemade crate we fashioned for it.

Brake calipers are painted and sanded so that the manufacturer name is unpainted but the rest is satin black. Ignition switch is painted and the gas cap is polished and mounted with freshly painted screws.

Still likely have another 3 weekends or so before it's all together, but at least it's a start! Oh, also got an electric impact wrench and 2 torque wrenches (one in foot pounds, one in inch pounds) to get it all back together. Here's hoping for no spare parts =P
