good news! it appears our credit is finally on an up-swing. it helps that we no longer have credit cards and never buy anything on credit and are slowly-but-surely paying off car-loans, but, hey--we're finally seeing a sliver of the light of day from underneath the mountain-sized rock the establishment rolls on you when you're a stupid teenager and an even stupider college student. but anyway...things are looking up. we've at least levered the rock up an inch or two...
and now for something completely different:
in the past month or so, i've had the privilege of beta-ing for some fantabulous writers and i wanted to pass along some links...
What's Love Got To Do With It? by slytherinboyz. it's a WIP, H/D with an angsty Harry who's not dealing well with Sirius's death. the interaction with Snape in the first chapter is not to be missed.
Another Night, Another Day by hp_alter_ego. this is a haunting one-shot. lovely and saaaad. het/gen. character death.
Fractured Fairy Tale also by hp_alter_ego. a short fic written for a fractured fairy tale challenge. also het. perfect if you're looking for a happily-ever-after fix. ;-)
