The Mailperson was fantastic to me today

So I went to check my mail today on the thin hopes that maybe my Ark Of Truth soundtrack had gotten here today. It was shipped the 18th, so it was possible, but I wasn't really expecting it. Man, am I glad I did go check. My mailbox was full!

My stuff from FreeClyde.com did get here! I now have in my hot little hands the soundtracks for Ark Of Truth (which is actually playing right now) and Witchblade (which I may listen to in the car on the way to class tonight).

But I also got my shampoo bars from Chagrin Valley Soap and Craft Company. Now, I know most of you are shaking your heads and wondering just what I'm on about now, but this is actually really cool. I have pretty long hair (which used to be longer and then I chopped some off just to test the style and now I'm letting it grow back out but with more shaping). And I'm a vegetarian. Most shampoos have gelatin in them, which is made from animal parts. Plus, normal shampoos are really bad for long hair because they do actually cause damage. It's all the chemicals and crap in them. Anyway, Chagrin Valley has all natural soaps and shampoo bars that are really reasonably priced. So I got some. But the family that owns it is supposed to be on vacation until...yesterday, I think, so I didn't expect to get that until at least next week. But I opened my mailbox and, damn, could I smell them.

But, in addition to my cool new prezzies, I also got three of my magazines (Curve, Vegetarian Times and Scientific American), an offer from the New York Times (come, subscribe to our newspaper!) and a bill (poo!). Yeah, my poor little mailbox? It was brimming.

But most of all, Ark of Truth soundtrack is every bit as awesome as I knew it would be! And the booklet art is fantabulous!

long hair, music, life
