Me: I completely forgot that the Oscars are tonight.
Missy the Kid: You ... you forgot? How is that even possible?
I have no idea how that's possible. Although, as I proposed in an email to Brad, I believe that watching The Tree of Life killed any desire to watch any more movies, including ones that aren't nominated for Oscars.
Anyway. I'm watching Conan until 8:30, at which point I will be switching over to ABC and attempting my Eighth Annual Running Commentary to the Academy Awards. (Holy shit, I've been doing this for eight years?) It'll be really fun for me this year, because the only people I want to win are Melissa McCarthy and Dean Pelton. Oh my God, if Dean Pelton wins the Oscar ... Community will never be the same. Holy shit, I can't wait to see that awards speech.
