Happy Moments
Welcome LJ! It's been a while. :)
It's been almost two months since I blogged. A lot of things happened. There are times when I thought I could not do everything but God is so good, for He is always there for me to guide me. I'm really thankful for everything.
For me to remember and also share the happy moments I had, I'll list them here:
First, Nica, Ate Jen's daughter, my niece, my goddaughter is now a Catholic. She's already growing strong, kind and adorable.
Second, at work, we're still busy but I think I can still survive (LOL). We have a September deadline for the Visa projects that's why sometimes we're having overtimes. I would be honest that I was burnt out. But after reflection, I realized that I will still stay and I will make this company successful. It's great that I can feel that our boss is concerned and the people in our company really does care and are doing their part to hear us and understand our situation. I'm also enjoying the times I have with my colleagues. I'm also going out with them. I'm so grateful that they are all kind (super kind). :) I go out with them for dinner and I just watched three films with them.
1). Kung Fu Panda with Bob and Jaira
2). X-men First Class with Jo, Rex, Aldrin, Bob and their UPLB friends
3) Green Lantern with Jo, Rex, Aldrin, Bob, Tiff, and Bob's friend
For our company, we were also able to launch two new concierge sites, me, with my team members, Tiff and JC and I'm so glad that they are very hardworking and kind. We are also able to implement a lot of Production tickets. I am also able to finish a module on Password Customization, just yesterday, with a lot of times scared of not knowing if I can make it on time. I'm really thankful to my friend Bob for letting me use their WIFI connection whenever my WIFI connection is acting up against me. I'm also amazed with the people in our company. Ang galing nila! Why did I say that? Because, we were able finish a lot of things for our clients even those things that we thought we cannot accomplish on time. THUMBS UP! :)
Third, I'm now enrolled in UP Open University taking up Masters in Information Systems! Yey! I'm now taking 2 courses: Principles of Programming Language and Ethics. (sounds familiar? haha!) I really would want to take more courses but I can't because my work is taking a lot of my time. I'm also preparing for WYD. For now, I'm enjoying and learning a lot from the 2 courses. I'm planning to read my books again on weekend before I become busy again at work. I still need to prepare for my Ethics video and project. I asked Ms. Roma's permission to use my officemates as an audience for this. :)
Fourth, I'm also now a part-time tutor at UP Open University. :) I'm teaching Multimedia Database Management System. Thanks Bob for the opportunities! :) Bob and I are also creating a draft for the book for this course. I hope I can finish it on time and I can do it great. :)
Fifth, I'm playing badminton again. I played badminton with Karen, Vicky, Sir Gentrie, Patrick and Justin. This is just occasional though because I'm still busy with work, UP-OU, WYD and a lot of things. As soon as I ironed out my schedule, I will really play weekly again. I really want to play again! :)
Sixth, I was able to see Glenn and Mong again. We had our dinner in Greenbelt for free c/o Glenn. :)
Updates: Mong is slimmer! :) I also had my hair cut short. Look at Andrew. He's getting thinner too. Workaholic din kasi. He has a cold that day. Andrew and I just got there from the office. Melvin was not there unfortunately because he's in Canada.
Seventh, I'm getting to enjoy my stay here in the condo. I'm enjoying my stay too because of Jaira. Jaira is also enjoying her stay. She even mentioned that she's glad that I'm outgoing that she was able to go to places she hasn't visited yet. She was able to go to Trinoma, Tiendesitas, SM Pasig, Eastwood and even De La Salle University Manila.
Memories: (1) Jaira and I went to Eastwood to buy a dress for Isaac and Ate Shill's wedding. (2) Our officemates went to Greenbelt after work.
Eighth, I was able to see my former officemates and my friends at Isaac and Ate Shill's wedding. :)
Ninth, I was also able to attend my Tito Leslie's birthday and see my cousins. :)
Tenth, I was also able to attend my Tita Jhem's civil wedding.
Eleventh, I went to De La Salle University Centennial Party with Jaira, Tiff and Cyrus. I was also able meet Leda there. I was not able to meet Sally though. I really enjoyed the day and I'm so happy that I was able to be there. It's a great event. It's really amazing when an institution lasts for 100 years. It's so inspiring. I hope I can build one too. :)
Twelfth, WYD is getting near. I'm really excited. I'm attending our WYD classes. I'm still waiting for our Schengen VISA. I can't wait!
Lastly, I celebrated Father's day with my family as well as my parents' wedding anniversary. :)
I'm so happy! :)
I'm really grateful for the things that is happening to me right now. There are times when I feel sad because I still haven't found the person I want to be with and share my future with as my partner in life but I know that my special someone will come on God's perfect time. I really do hope that everything will be great in the end. I hope I can fulfill my mission and dreams. What will happen in the future is still a question for me but I'm happy that I'm in the right track. Thank you Lord! Guide me always as well as the people close to my heart. I hope we all find our true happiness! :)
