April madness
Finally, we passed PCI Compliance after days of sacrifices: work during weekend, long duration of work and many more. Since our client is a concierge company, it's really important that they comply. I just recently got to appreciate this more when my credit card was charged 4 times by bestbooksvault.com. I don't know how but someone is using my credit card to purchase something from that URL. x-( I already submitted my complaint in BPI and they said they are now processing it. I also asked them to replace my credit card. I just hope I can get a refund on my credit card bills pertaining to the fraud purchases. :(
It's also the end of April this week. Time is running really fast. It's overwhelming. Recently, I blogged about wanting to have a break. I already emailed my managers for a 3-day leave. I'm asking if they can grant this next week or next next week. I badly needed this - just to recharge and also to do the things I've been delaying as I said in my recent post. Hopefully, they can grant it. :)
I have a lot of plans for my 3-day leave. :) I will probably pamper myself (massage, parlor, etc). I will also read ebooks, books, etc. I hope I can take it on a Wednesday so I can have a 5-day break counting Saturday and Sunday. Oh please. Lord, I hope I can.
I would also like to list down the things that happened to me for this couple of weeks. Here it goes:
1. Jaira is now our housemate! She just moved in recently. We are all really getting along well. Jo, Jaira and I are cooking our meals daily (though sometimes we're too busy to cook, we just re-heat our food :P). I was able to cook sinigang na baboy, ginataang manok, afritada and other meals. I'm so happy that I can cook now and they said it's delicious except for the ginataang manok where I used an instant gata (It tastes not like when you're using the natural gata though it's still good. Next time, I'll try again with a different recipe) . We're also singing once in awhile while Jaira is playing guitar or piano. We're also singing videoke. We also watch movies, etc. We're also working together. Next time, I hope we can also have time to swim on our condiminium swimming pool and do more stuff. :)
2. Marjorie celebrated her graduation at her family's house. I dropped by, coming from work, just to congratulate her and I also gave her 2 gallons of ice cream. I'm happy that she is now a graduate. Congrats Marjorie! :)
3. We had our team building in Pugad Lawin, Bulacan. I had fun especially on the team building activity though afterwards, my body was so sore. It's just a one-day event and some of our teammates were not able to come because of work. I hope next time, all or almost all can come.
4. My family, relatives and I went to Amana Water Park, Bulacan.
5. We passed PCI Compliance. I'm also finished with my modules and tickets.
6. bible studies with Mau leading us - Thanks Mau! :) I'm excited to get to know more about God and His words and to get to know my officemates too through the sharings.
FYI: I'm currently watching the wedding of Prince William and Kate. It's so cute. It's like watching a Disney fairy tale movie. :)
