Something to remember and to look forward
It's April already. :)
For this week and the last weeks, I've been in different moods: happy, sad, excited, stressed, grateful, etc.
I'm HAPPY because:
I'm enjoying my life living independently. I'm learning how to cook. Jo and I are also buying groceries and I'm really having fun. I'm also having fun living with her. Look at some of the dishes we cooked and have eaten:
I'm also able to paint with Jo just now. Just judge if this is a boy or a girl... haha. I think I need to improve more on that.
I have a new convection oven with rotesserie that I bought with Karen (she also bought one for herself.. *grin*). I was also able to play badminton again then I had dinner afterwards:
I am already admitted to MIS.
I was able to bond with my officemates when we had a Bible study in McCafe Glorietta.
I'm learning to play guitar and ukulele. Jaira is teaching me how to strum. I'm also studying how to tune my ukulele.
I was able to see my friends back again in highschool and college: Kathy, Leslie, Karen and Rachelle during Kathy's Thanksgiving in Yakimix in Trinoma for passing the board exam and Mel, Apany and Alvin during our dinner in Momo, Ayala Triangle with Alvin leaving for Singapore and Mel for France.
I was also able to visit my family back in Valenzuela and was able to see my niece Nica.
I'm also able to participate in the Matchbox session and also attended the Anniversary of Destiny Makati. I'm happy that I got to know them knowing that they are passionate people who really wants to help and to make a difference.
I was SAD and stressed because:
I was sick for a few days and I was not able to be at my best at work because of this while we're still having an issue on access to different server/ports caused by changes made on our server for PCI compliance. I had a common cold, cough and sore throat. I also got a fever for a day. I'm just grateful for all the prayers that I am now okay. I'm just having cough and a hoarse voice but I know I'm recovering. Thank you! :) Mahirap maysakit lalo na pag may deadline. =P
I'm EXCITED because:
Soon, Jaira will be our housemate (maybe on mid-April). Our bosses will also be here in the Philippines again and I'm excited on our teambuilding and the updates from them on their plans etc. I'm also excited to enroll in UP-OU, be a student again and study. I'm also excited for WYD in Spain. Jo and I are also planning to put up an online business. :) I'm really excited.
