i've currently got about $2300 in cold hard cash sitting in my closet. that's enough to buy an iMac. or a bunch of overpriced guitar pedals. or a quality theremin. or a sweeeeet bass amp, or an awesome 6 string bass. all of which i want. After much deliberation, I think I've decided to go with the iMac. i will have to spend another grand or so to get the music soft- and hardware i need, so this is the most expensive option, and considering how computers devalue so quickly, it may be the worst decision financially, but it will definitely open up the most creative options, by far. and the best part is that making computer music requires no monotonous repetitive practise!!! all those physical-oriented instruments require training of your brain-finger impulses/control, whereas computer music is all cranial, just think of an idea, think of how to make it happen, then cut and paste, and hit PLAY. Plus with a computer you've got a whole orchestra (and more!) at your fingertips, not just one or six or a dozen notes that all sound mostly the same. endless possiblities, things that were absolutely impossible when i was born can now be done, even by silly me. ah yes, this decision feels right.

Now to clean my skin, then go DRINKIN' at the Spur!!!!!!!!
