hmmm, well, cabbying is going pretty well. for the most part. i had to kick a guy out of the cab on friday 'cause he was stupid drunk and calling me mean names, so i flexed my authority and booted the fucker out. business is getting busier now that schools in, so thats good. other than that, nothing too interesting has happened.
went to a funeral on friday for my uncle Greg who hung himself with a chain from the rafters of his shed. he didn't use a rope because they took away all his rope after he tried to hang himself in the spring. needless to say it was a sad and awkward funeral, and i avoided most of his immediate family since i particularly felt terribly awkward, since my always feeling somewhat awkward around them combined with the added awkwardness of the circumstances made for such an awkward feeling that i played with my hands, fidgeting, until finally i went outside and had a nap in the car for the next 3 hours. the catholic sermon and all that seemed awkward given the circumstance too.
looks like BattleSnake is indeed playing halloween at the starlight. should be a ridiculously fun night.
