A Top Birthday Was Had !
Heya Folks !
Thanks to all for my birthday wishes across the various different mediums :)
I had an absolutely top day ! It all started with a bit of a lie in, progressed with a crispy bacon and poached egg sarnie (and a bowl of crab flavour noodles). I then got yet another present off Emma (after the earlier two of Sarah Millican and Bagpuss tickets - separate events I should add) in the form of four bottles of Moniack Mead ! I then had a lovely chat with Mum on the telephone and she let me know I could open what I'd previously thought to be a Christmas present as a birthday pressie ! It was Mansions of Madness, a top notch Cthulhu based boardgame, think Cluedo with loads more violence, insanity and slow creeping horror... I then put a vat of Mum's recipe Pea and Ham soup on and sat down with Emma to play Mansions of Madness with the co-operative rules from BGG (so we both played against the game instead of against each other) and it worked really really well ! Sadly things did not go well for our investigators, during the final stages we didn't achieve our goal as some evil denizens of House Lynch got me and then feasted on my still warm corpse :) The day was finished off with a mini catch up of Merlin as we were practically the whole season behind.
And that was it.
