London Town
This weekend me and the lovely Miss Rhodes popped down to London for different reasons :) She popped down to go and meet up with some of her Law School chums for a meal and I met up with my oldest surviving friend Vanessa (as in the length of time she's been my friend as opposed to being 150 years old).
A top time was had by Me and Nessa despite her Rugby team (The Wasps) being stuffed good and proper by Munster on Saturday night. After a strabge combo-pub crawl-hike along South Bank we ended up and the Drunken Monkey bar near Shoreditch which is a cracking combination of cocktail bar and chinese restaurant. After a few expensive cocktails we popped back to Nessa's flat for Team America !
Sunday after a nice walk down the canal to Victoria Park I walked into the centre and met up with Emma for a tasty Sunday carvery ata pub whose name eludes me right now and then headed over to Temple for the open day ! It was brilliant, we got to walk through both the Inner and Middle Temple halls and popped into Temple Church. If they have another day and you like English history I thoroughly recommend it :)
