Yes I did !
I managed to get the plasterboard up on Friday and jointed it on Friday/saturday. Ideally it needed a second coat of plaster to make it smoother but as time was against me I painted it and put a few more coats on the walls. I got to bed around 1am.
Sunday saw me putting up the coving and sealing the joints with magic flexible filler stuff. I then moved all the furniture back in and made the bed, put the light back on (now situated in the middle of the room). And job was done.
Then the curtain rail fell off the bastard wall. Luckily I had some lovely 'crappy wall' rawlplugs and fixed it in a jiffy. There is a small hole next to the pole now (similar to the one on the other side I only repaired/painted last week, but it's hidden by the curtains.
All in all job done. It took about 3-4 days equivalent of work to do the lot and it's given me loads of confidence about DIY again. Next up is a biggy, in April I'm getting a new bathroom and doing a lot of it myself (although not all as I can't do skim / plaster at all). There are photo's which are extremely dull in the grand scheme of things and I'll stick 'em on facebook at somepoint.
Roisin has now moved in and all is well :)
