tourists from the 27th century visit rome to watch christian matyrs feed lions. it happened in the history books so it had to happen. mary: "the imortant thing is that humanity has changed. we are no longer so savage, we are humane. but we must never forget where we came from." vid: "now we have the power to save people. shouldnt we do it. fuck the 'integrity of time.' we must go back and do what is right. mary: "but we are not righteous; we are human sinners."
