UMSFL Chapter 35 - Here Stand 2 Great Super Fighters!
So 33-san uploaded the 5th installment of UMSFL.
OMGWTHFPWNZ. ChibiPowered! ChibiGreat! O_o They're like the new Man and Seven! It was so cute!
Right, getting ahead of myself. So Taro and Man are kicking Goudis' ass, and it FINALLY comes out that Goudis is, er, whassaword...possessing Great. FINALLY! 0_0
How can the Ultras hurt one of their own?! Powered seems determined to try, even when Taro tries to stop him, and he's, he's...HE'S SHEDDING TEARS! @_@ Powered-shaaaan...masumasu kacchoii natteru na~
It's amazing how Ryuu and Jin are cutting canon at this point. Great and Powered are BOTH 'Goudis Hunters' under orders from King. Great exceeds Powered in, ironically for the name, power, so the latter concentrates more on the training of the mind. So now we know who the only other two who know of Goudis' existence are, AND the reason why Great kept turning down U/F's requests that he join the Space Garrison! He was still training to fight Goudis! Cold as he was on the outside, he was blazing on the inside to fight with the others. At one time Powered said it didn't matter whether they worked on stage or backstage, because it was the same defence job. Great then spouts the Famous Last Words.
"...If I'm lost again...come and help me out. K?" (And he winks. He looks too darn C00T.)
Anyway. There is a wonderful tie-up with previous manga canon, and how Goudis found him out and managed to capture him. (heavy hint: Fighter Baltan. Final weapon used.) So Powered's about to use the Mega Specium Beam and wipe Goudis off the face of the, er, universe (read: stop Great from Being Lost)...
...And Taro takes the blow, to avoid hurting Great. (Achaaaa...) Goudis escapes. Konbaka ga...rrrgh!
There's another part where we see Powered leaving their ranks, intending to fight alone (Taro doesn't seem to support the decision *whistles*). It's seriously cool, because he flings P. Red King over one shoulder and P. Baltan he hefts under the other arm, and away he walks. O_o Should the REAL Powered do that, you'd have to remove my jaw from the floor by CHIPPING it out. And there's a base with all the other Powered-ryuu followers...O____o
Omg, UMSFL Powered is so damn COOL. He's beyond all expectation. Damn, if he dies after this arc...I'll just be very sad. I might even give him a funeral fic. The real UM could seriously never dream of achieving such singular honour and attitude. Booyah, America. ;)
Anyway. Goudis just gets eviller and eviller, and Bemular? You're the first Ultraman monster and you got the crap kicked out of you (even if you killed some Shin Ultran called Claude in another manga), so don't even THINK of joining your strength with Goudis. Drop in the ocean.
Prof. Notani wrote a superb plan...on toilet paper. 80 seems determined to be cool, too.
Oh, btw--I saw Izen again! Same ears, same pattern, same boots and gloves...He's officially canon! X3
