Exploration Week! *does the happy art student dance* I only went back to college on Tuesday to do sound recording for the Flash movies. I think JUST about everyone who recorded that day has a bit of my voice on their Flash. Not that I complain too much, but now when I open my mouth to sing it sounds like I'm doing it through a washboard. Maklumlah,

I thought Gunung Patah Belakang was a little slow. Hell, I thought some mansex was on the menu. But I also thought that smoking was cool (for a brief 3 seconds before my friend nearly killed me with his breath). Ah well, time to raid the local DVD store then.

Shoujo manga/anime has recieved some bad press I guess... I think the genre has been badly affected by bad marketing and rabid otaku. There's some offbeat shoujo manga that I could recommend... Perfect Girl Evolution, anyone? Shonnen manga/anime has been badly condemned too... guess that works both ways. (And that's why I prefer to read unlicensed, unpopular stuff. Try Mieru Hito. I give it top marks. Too bad it only goes up to chapter 11 at present. There, more shameless plugging at obscure fandoms.)

Not to say I don't read shoujo - Ouran Host Club and Sailor Fuku ni Onegai weren't half bad. But angst = goodstory? Fat chance HA.
