I just downloaded the...42nd chapter of UMSFL. I'm still missing 40 and 41, and I MIGHT enjoy a larger res version of 39...but still. It was every bit as good as the squealing posters proclaimed they were.Uchuu densetsu eien no inochi, Delta Star! Just saying that brings this huge, glazed-eyed smile to my face. Seven looked seriously, bad-assedly evil for one part of the thing, and Mefilas...was just Mefilas. XD
Which reminds me - I haven't done my monthly BomBom report ne? Trust me, it was nothing really fantastic. Deltora Quest, being Deltora Quest, was kind of boring. The artist of Dinoclore REALLY needs to learn how to draw proportionate noses before I go around denoseifying (derhinofying?) all his characters. THEY ARE HUGE. @__@ Do-suru Paradise kind of redeemed itself by printing a story about...otakus. Requisite bishojo is a spectacled cool kid with a secret passion for...wait for it...wait for it some more...Inubasta. Like Gundam meets Pocket Dogs. I mean, there was a Shiba Basta, and a Shihtzu Buster, and even a Chihua Buster. No use romanising it as Tiwabasta, mister. So damn transparent. And what's with 'Dog Basta'? Bit redundant, innit? O_o
Midou has come back with a new work - well, the title's interesting. Big Bad Daddy! Some kid's father, really nice and kinda lembik in that Adrian Brody way, goes off mushroom picking one day, disappears for a year and comes back as some weird demon due to his stumbling into another plane and eating ANYTHING to survive. Appearance changed, character changed...this is a cue for hella lot of dick jokes, shit jokes, strange songs and plenty of pointlessness. Not like that could be a bad thing. And...Musha Banchou? Good lord, it's making even ME sick of the alternate character for otoko, 漢. Banchou!Kokuryuu is so into this whole 'otoko' concept it's coming out of my ears. >_< Screw that, I'ma gonna buy the tanks when they appear. Not even going to follow Totsugeki Chicken!
...I guess I AM still dwelling on the fact there is no more Ninja Manual. GOD I NEED TO WRITE FANFIC. *remembers seiza needs a Gekiden piece*
