Y'know, sometimes, I love editorial work. Like when I get to interview an ex-Assuntarian whose 'ex' status I found out through serendipity, and like last year when I got to read some very nice articles from my contemporaries, and getting up and about grabbing pictures for layouts and arranging them just so.
On the other hand, sometimes, I can really hate it. Like when I have to endure 3 teenage human females (homo sapiens fanpueris screechus) gibbering over some hockey player I franky have no interest in, seeing all the articles be trashed completely by last years editor -- seriously, I thought they were good -- and my junior faffing about with the abovementioned article's layout.
Apparently the lass' computer is spoilt, so she doesn't have an internet connection and no printer connection. She can't e-mail me the layouts. She can't print the layouts out. She's having a bitch of a time trying to get it done, but I wish she'd have a bitch FASTER. She says its all done but it's the, let's say, media transfer that's being a bitch. My chief is on my back and she sounds dead cheesed. I've never seen her in a state of fury and believe me, I don't intend to! X_X
[mumble]It doesn't help that last year she was the hardest new member to catch a hold of...[/mumble]
Now I don't know why, but I feel so...alone...
