(no subject)
been in the new house about a week. far from all moved in. more than half of our stuff is still in storage and less of half of what we took out of storage has left the garage. we wont have a fridge until monday, so no big holiday festivities at mi casa.
the best part, and what might make this my favorite time of year is the weather. it is chilly and I love it. highs in the 40's to 50's, low's in the 20's and 30's. it's so lovely. cool enough to wear long sleeves, not cold enough to make the lungs hurt. I just know this is perfect hiking weather, but we have not gotten around to it yet. all time/energy was consumed with house and now with so much left to do, and unfortunately, kaveh and myself both sick, fun will have to wait a little longer.
the changing of the leaves was beautiful, the falling of the leaves is equally stunning. so many people complain about how dead everything looks, but I find myself overwhelmed with the individual beauty of the trees, the trunks and the form of the branches. every tree is so unique. it's lovely.
