wow, no october update?
well, it is november. Kaveh and I have been here in Albuquerque just over a month. it has been great. unfortunately, there has not been much time for exploring our new city. as soon as we arrived, we went to work on finding a house. we are under contract and scheduled to close on a house on friday the 13th! awesome!
I am really liking my new town, and considering that I don't have my own home yet and still love it here, I think it's going to be great when we finally get the keys to our own place. I arrived for the tail end of summer, which looked like spring with flowers everywhere. when I came back with Kaveh, fall had arrived. we have seen the cottonwoods change and even had a small snowstorm.
I can't wait to get settled and finally use free time for exploring. we have found lots of good food in town. NPR here sucks, but PBS is good.
