TuxGuitar and NoteEdit are both pretty rad. TuxGuitar seems better for working things out quickly, and is more specifically guitar-oriented (click a fret and it puts the note on the score!) but NoteEdit seems to have a lot more notation features. Both of them can export to LilyPond for beautification and manual tweaking.

The other night I went over to the other side of the duplex to hang out with our friends and neighbors while they had a little jam session. I randomly found another band I sort of like: Super Furry Animals. I'll reserve final judgement until I hear more of their stuff. They sound kind of like Barenaked Ladies.

The other day I heard Werewolves of London on the radio, not a favorite song of mine but one I sort of liked, quirky and interesting.
