Decided I'll hang onto the green border and orange/gold links for a while. It looks good with the black. As you can see, Wolf Noir is once again Noir.
So, that was Paddy's Day. Grey, cold and with a bit of drizzle - traditional St. Patrick's Day weather. Still, you have to have at least one state holiday to brighten up March, don't you?

Have I said yet how much I love Winter Rose, star of the "Well, she certainly has an active fantasy life..." thread on GAFF - nay, the star of the whole GA Websites forum? If her defenders are anything to go by, she's aware of the thread, and yet she goes right on doing her thing, garnering seventy pages devoted to her, and sending various posters into conniptions because "how dare she say she's a)taking up hula/bellydancing/karate/origami b)descended from Irish kings/Catherine Howard/a Cherokee princess/a Geisha SHE'S CHEAPENING MY CULTURE!!!". It's gas how worked up some folk are getting, especially since I suspect she doesn't take any of the stuff she puts up seriously. Someone posted an excerpt a few months back wherein she quoted her boyfriend telling her the searchlights were the fairies looking for their princess (her), and still a couple of people weighed in saying how deluded she was. God, the only other person who can make GAFFers dance like this is Knorg. Post on, Winter Rose! Live the dream, you Faerie Queene!
EDIT: Now someone's screeching about her hypocrisy when it comes to the environment! Oh, it's comedy gold. Go, Winter Rose, go!

Wandered down the town today in search of a cookie jar and a fruit bowl for Nelly's birthday (which was nearly two weeks ago. Bad 'Wulf!) Got the jar, but not the bowl. The bowl might end up being bought in Dunnes at this stage. Also have my mother's birthday present (for next Friday) and a Mother's Day gift (next Sunday) to shop for. She wants Leo Sayer's latest album, but I haven't seen it yet. Then next up it's Spider's birthday. Going to check out a couple of music shops and see if I can get him something like a Machinehead DVD or a System of a Down hoodie.
