Internet is scarce at my house but family is not. I would prefer the former over the latter any day. Right now there are two hellion children running around my house calling me 'Aunt Marie'. They are the spawn of my brother and they have enough energy to run a nationwide marathon. Twice. I have no idea where these kids get their energy from. It's so draining on everyone else around them.
Right now I'm just hanging in till New York which is followed immediately by OhayoCon *dances*.
So I get home and I tell my Mum, 'Hey, how about we go up to NYC and see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway?' I don't know why I asked, I just thought it sounded like fun.
Mum: "Yeah, sure, whatever, we'll see."
Two days later
Mum: "Okay, I just got off the phone with the agent. I got us a hotel up in New York and she booked the tickets for us. We're going on the 2nd and we'll be back in time for your flight."
Me: O_O
....
....
Yes!
So after New Year's mum and I are going to do that, then I head over to Columbus for OhayoCon and friends. It's a good life.
I decided to pick up Habane Renmei again. We started watching it last year in Anime Club but no one seemed to get into it except the person who suggested it. I got the rest of the episodes from Ashley and started on them a couple days after I got home. I finished, and I have to say, not to bad. It wasn't a great show, but it had a good ending. I won't spoil, but you find out what the Habane are and what their purpose is. It is a very relaxing slow paced show, if your looking for that.
Also started Meru Puri. I can't go three pages without going "Ge ge ge ge." It's so cute! I love the humor and the character relations. I'll probably finish that tonight, or I'm watching the rest of Darker than Black with my brother. Which is fine because, well, Hei is a very hot person. Character. Idea. Everything. *blushes* (I will not have fantasies about fictional characters I will not have fantasies about fictional characters I will not have fantasies about fictional characters)
