Wait, someone *doesn't* want my money?
Apparently someone told my student loan company I was back in school. I guess technically two classes puts me over the important more-than-half-time line. I sure didn't do any paperwork, but I just got a letter saying my loans are in deferment until 2014.
Not going to stop making payments, if for no other reason than they're not going to stop charging me interest. Also I have this vague dream of someday paying these suckers off. But if they're going to give me options, well, that's a thing to think about.
If nothing else I may subtract the cost of buying dinner on nights I go to class. One cannot live on cliff bars alone. Or would prefer not to when there's a Chipotle right there.
