My mom is dead, demyelinated and gallbladder-less, and so I am coordinating with two men, 50 and 60-some, who've recently had hip replacements, about setting up care for my grandfather, who fell down and broke his hip and will probably never be able to use stairs again, and can't really connect with the reality of his limitations, or for that matter hear us to help with the conversation.

And I am... well, today I am just terrified of my body.
