LJ mobile posting ate this THREE TIMES. So it's way less interesting than it was the first time I posted. Probably should have just given up. But typing is something I can do!
See, I suddenly became 75% left-handed last night after applying sharpened metal to my right hand. And while I had some high hopes of being ambidextrous as a child, not realizing that it's kind of something you're either born with or train extensively for, and I was easily distracted as a youth, it's clear my minimal practicing has not produced any stunning results. For while I can throw a ball (water polo, natch), feed myself (thank you Europe and airplanes) and write pretty much legibly (7th grade science, teacher went on medical leave, had a substitute for five months. Finished the textbook and all the dittos in less than two), I cannot seem to brush my teeth with my off hand.
But seven-finger typing is way easier than I expected, and once I got to work and got my superglue, I was pretty much back to normal.
