I think my browser will crash again. Which is also how I feel. Slept too late, expecting the firepit fire to begin. Woke up a little late, with crunky brain, Alzheimers gait, the feeling that I was being propelled forward when I walked, etc. So, I decided not to take dog for planned walk. Although, maybe I will. Although. Radio reminded me that woman killed in Memphis was out jogging at 4:30am. Also tells me of latest Memphis shooter, on a spree, streaming his idiocy on FB. There's still crime in the city. But it's good to be free.

I love Neil Young, although his brain is about as good as mine now. But it's good to be me. I guess I am taking a break, now, and taking my dog out for a walk. Doing it my way...
OK, I managed to walk the dog. Saw that the pleasant little house, kiddie corner to narcissist#39;s house, is for sale. It has a nice enclosed porch, for writing, dog, prostitution business, etc. It's a got a little second storey. And it has a fenced backyard. But, the corner area is not fenced. And the house is bigger than I thought it was. So, it will probably be offered at $80,000. It is across the street from one of those duplex building that looks like old project housing but it isn't. Looks like a black family, and a black man or couple, live there, and have been no problem. Except there was yelling from there, yesterday. I thought the guy was yelling at me, because my dog, tided in the front yard, will sometimes rush at cats, etc. Which is not a problem, in reality.
On Tuesday, an extremely loud car was revving there. So, maybe the (probably older) resident of the nice little house with the nice little porch is moving out, because of issues with neighbours. I am not saying those folks, entirely. This whole neighbourhood is being eaten away, like cars from rust, not by testosterone in general, but by narcissism, and unneighbourliness, in general. Some asshole like the narcissist next-door moves in, (who is white, btw), acting like he is the most important thing since the big bang, looking at everyone else as some kind of challenge, and not seeing or caring about the consequences of his actions, and so nicer, legacy people throw up their arms, and throw in the towel, instead of joining neighbourhood groups, and so on.
There was also that war going on with Super Bowl Chainsaw Man, with idk who. He is long gone, and that house is empty. Who knows if the people who move in there, plus the people who move into narcissist#39;s house, will help the hood or not.
That nice little corner house would be too expensive for me to even ponder. And I would not move there, even if it wasn't, if the neighbourhood continued to go to hell. Whoever lives inside has a bunch of his lights on, inside. Maybe he is super scared. Maybe he has the front porch lighted up, with the FOR SALE sign showing, because he knows I sometimes walk by, with my dog, in the unholy night.
OK, back to the theme of this post, which is crime, and music. Half of the music has nothing at all to do with crime, other than, it might help fight crime, if more people listened to it. Except for rap. I think rap generally has an inverse correlation to peacefulness, and even to the ability to hear more peaceful music.
I heard about a club/cafe in Chicago who has decided to no longer play hip-hop, after three people were shot there. And, they are taking other measures. At least they are not shutting down. I thought I'd do a post on the relationship between, "hip-hop," and crime, especially in Chicago, (this on the heals of the R. Kelly stuff. What is it with theses
Kellys?) (I can't yet find any detailed info on
Ezekiel Kelly, but it is likely he has similarities to the racist online rap fool who drove through the Waukesha Christmas parade). They are calling it, "hip-hop," but I think what it really is gangsta rap, and associated drugs, guns, trance/club music, internet, etc. And I don't think he is a white supremacist.
The left always defaults to demanding more controls on guns, after any shooting. (Which they couldn't do after the short-lived Waukesha massacre). But, more controls usually mean legal people get screwed more by the criminals who get guns illegally, and there are no good people with guns to stop their mayhem. And, what happens in Canada? Where are the people with weapons to stop psychos on their knifing sprees? What is the preventive measure - close down the killers bank accounts while they are in process of killing everyone in slow motion?
In some cases, easy availability of guns can result in easy or accidental killings. But this is not the main cause of gun killings. Before someone claims that the main cause of gun killings is guns, it should be said that there may be other "causes" - maybe even stronger, like:
Alcohol.
Drugs, including fentanyl from China.
Gangster rap culture.
A stupid incubator prison system, including irresponsibly reduced sentences.
Lax and corrupt prosecutors.
A decadent or mean public milieu.
Stupid politics, stupid wokism, stupid education system.
Blaming everything on racism, guns, white supremacism or Trump.
The internet and all its glory.
The media.
Cars - usually when the messed up people inside them have guns.
Stupid mentally-militerised police.
Stupid police who stand around, or run away, during mass shootings.
Anti-police hate.
Hate.
Denial.
Narcissism.
Money.
MENTAL ILLNESS.
Seriously. If one is going to say that guns are basically the only problem, then all of these have a right to be mentioned in response. Because they are real.
All hail, the 'New' NAZIcissism!

2014: "On Halloween, Nicki Minaj released a lyric video for her new track,
Only, featuring rappers and singers Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown. The graphic black, white and red animation, directed by Jeff Osborne, has attracted criticism for evoking the crowd scenes and bold iconography associated with Adolf Hitler and the Nuremberg Rally, among other aspects of the Nazi regime.
However, there are other possible influences to be spotted in the video as well.
Here are some of them..."
Very progressive.
Well, I guess that's all for now. I'll do the other music stuff in a dif post.
Take a breather - sponsored by WGN late night...
