Bucha, Ukraine

Here is English translation of post by turtaniat which I reposted recently (now deleting).  Looks like it's going to come out as a b lock again.  Idk why this happens lately...

A rather weak explanation for what's going on, but I keep it. How do Nazis become Nazis? That's how they become. We're dealing with Russian Nazis led by the Kremlin and Putin. And what kind of negotiations can we talk about? What kind of negotiations can there be with Putin?

What we saw yesterday in Bucha could have been the spontaneous violence of Russian soldiers and junior officers avenging their shameful defeat. But it could also be a centralized order of the leaders of the "war party", trying to complicate and, if possible, disrupt the ongoing negotiations as much as possible.

At the level of emotions, one would like to believe in the second - so as not to think that Russian citizens are massively capable of such epic atrocities - but reason says that it would be better if this were the first: the presence in the domestic leadership of such a radical "party of war" can stall the negotiation process for a long time.

One would also assume that this is Putin's attempt to rally the Russian ruling class by tying it up in blood. But there is some inconsistency here: if he is set up in this way, then why did he start the negotiation process at all? However, perhaps he is rushing: yesterday - negotiations, today - bloodshed.

And it may also be an attempt by the Russian president to save his rapidly fading image. Since it was not possible to impress the Russians with victories, at least to shock them with blood - in the hope that they would not dare to call a bloody butcher a weakling.

It can be assumed that there is a little bit of everything here, but it is extremely important to establish the proportions.
