I switched on Liz Phair the other day just as a quick bridge to something else and ended up with songs stuck in my head. It's a good album. She did a good job, and didn't deserve the flack she got. I never really noticed her putting anything out after that album, but she probably did. The ephemeral pop music machine just spits stars out to make room for other stars, and so pop music never really matures. Anyway, here is the main song that stuck in my head, which gave me the idea to make this mx mix post. It's about a guy, but the lyrics below are what I savour most...
