I put up newly-washed diaphanous curtains so I can keep an eye on the guy next door.  There is a small emerald green one over the back/side door, which I have always liked.  I used it at the previous apt., and it works well.  And - I put up the roll-up bamboo blind which has a picture of a big smiling sun on it, facing it outwards.  So, this was
